Product Description
All safety couplings have the following characteristics:
1. There is no gap in the keyless shaft sleeve connection;
2. High torsional rigidity, low inertia torque, small size, and adjustable separation torque;
3. After reconnecting, the original position can be kept unchanged;
4. It can alarm when overloaded;
5. There are two forms to choose from: automatic reconnection and non automatic reconnection, which have heat resistance (above 260 ℃). In addition, certain types of safety couplings also compensate for axial displacement, lateral displacement, and angular displacement of the shaft. On the pulleys and sprockets, some also have integral ball bearings. The above characteristics make the safety coupling not only suitable for machine tool transmission devices, but also for high-performance assembly lines, printing machinery, packaging machinery, etc
Characteristics and uses of safety couplings:
1. The torque control has a wide range and high control accuracy. The torque is directly proportional to the excitation current over a wide range, which can improve and simplify the control of torque transmission and can be used as a linear adjustment element.
2. It has constant torque, and the torque only depends on the magnitude of the excitation current, independent of the relative torque of the driving and driven sides. It has fixed torque, and its static torque is the same as the dynamic torque.
3. It can transmit a certain amount of torque without impact, vibration, noise, and smooth operation, regardless of the slip difference. It can be used in situations with high working frequencies.
4. It consumes less power and controls less power. The residual torque when disconnecting the excitation current is very small, and the disconnection performance is good. There is no heating phenomenon at all during idle operation, and the torque stability is good, which can be used for precise control.
5. Simple structure, small volume, small mass, magnetic powder does not require oil dry type, easy maintenance, magnetic powder has oxidation resistance, good heat resistance, long service life, and high reliability. By fixing the driven part and converting the torque into the braking torque on the rotating part, it can become a magnetic powder coupling or a magnetic powder load.
