What is Reversed Osmosis?
The Reverse Osmosis process uses a semi-permeable membrane to separate and remove dissolved solids, organics, pyrogens, submicron colloidal matter, viruses, and bacteria from water. The process is called "reverse" osmosis since it reauires pressure to force pure water across a membrane, leaving the impurities behind. Reverse Osmosis is capable of removing 95%-99% of the total dissolved solids (TDS) and 99% of all bacteria, thus providing safe, pure water.
RO equipment is one of the most advanced equipment for pure water production among water treatment equipment in the world at present, with low operation cost, economy, convenient operation and reliable operation, it is the preferred equipment for pure water production by businesses. The production capacity of RO equipment is the value of raw water at 25℃, standard production condition. Changes in water temperature and production conditions will affect the production capacity of the equipment.
Industrial reverse osmosis equipment needs to configure different processes according to the actual water requirements, water standards in various industries are different, such as resistance divided into 18MΩ.cm、15MΩ.cm、10MΩ.cm、2MΩ.cm、0.5MΩ.cm. Therefore, it is necessary to configure different pretreatment systems for different standards, single-stage double-stage reverse osmosis process, post-treatment system (EDI electric desalting system, polishing mixed bed system, ultraviolet sterilization, ozone generator, chlorine dioxide, etc.).
