SOOTHING FOOT SCRUBBER 250 ml
Perfect for starting any type of foot treatment with a vigorous massage to remove dead cells. On calluses and thickenings it is necessary to insist longer in order to be softened and eliminated. It contains:
MANDELIC ACID
: It belongs to alpha-hydroxy acids' family (AHA), derived from an extract of bitter almonds. It exfoliates only the superficial layers of the skin, with a gentle action. Furthermore, it has no photosensitizing effects: it can therefore be used all year round, even in summer and before exposing the body to the sun or to a tanning session. Its delicate formula does not cause redness, even for the most sensitive skin.
GLYCOLIC ACID:
It belongs to
alpha-hydroxy acids' family
(AHA). It is found in apples, citrus fruits, fermented milk, grapes, sugar cane and beets. Glycolic acid is widely used in cosmetics because it has an exfoliating and regenerating action on the epidermis. It gives the skin a brighter and smoother appearance as well as a more homogeneous color and a finer texture.
KAOLIN:
White clay or kaolin is a mineral clay. It has a very soothing, bactericidal, detoxifying and purifying effect in general and thanks to its absorbent and anti-odorant properties it can be an excellent remedy against sweat and bad smells from the skin.
SHEA BUTTER:
It is a natural substance extracted from the seeds of an African tree also called Butyrospermun parkii. African populations have used shea butter since ancient times, so much so that the tree is called the "tree of health and youth" precisely because of the beneficial properties of its nuts, from which a buttery substance is obtained.
Rich in vitamins A, B, E and F,
shea butter has excellent emollient, nourishing and moisturizing properties.
RICE BRAN OIL
: It is obtained from the external coating of the rice grain and has a light golden colour. It contains large quantities of squalene (one of the substances of which sebum is made up) and is therefore very suitable for dry skin. Furthermore, thanks to its Vitamin E content, it helps reduce blemishes and is an excellent antioxidant. It is easily absorbed and non-greasy.
ALMOND OIL
: It is obtained from the cold pressing of sweet almonds.
It is rich in antioxidants and vitamins A, B and E
. Thanks to its soothing properties, it reduces irritation and inflammation of the epidermis and improves the radiance of the complexion.
STARCH:
It is a vegetable powder very similar to talcum powder that helps absorb the sweat of the feet, thus altering the environment that fungi and bacteria need to proliferate.
APRICOT KERNEL
: It is obtained from the fruit of Prunus armeniaca. This extract has a superficial exfoliating effect. Thanks to the granulometry of its particles, it is ideal for eliminating dead cells without irritating the skin.
