Features and Usage
This series of product is made of special materials; it is the two-component condensed room-temperature curing liquid silicone rubbers. With low viscosity, sound fluidity, large adjustment range of hardness, low linear shrinkage rate, it can be widely used according to different purposes.
Use-method :
l. Mixture: Mix up the A, B component in the proportion of 1:1. It can be manually stirred or mixed by equipment.
2. Defoaming: The mixed rubber should be deaerated in vacuum. It will be finished (in about 10 minutes) until there is no bubble on the surface. If a small amount of rubber is used, operate it in the vacuum dryer.
3. Molding: Put the mixed material after defoaming into the mould and cure it for 2-3 hours at normal temperature; it takes 30 minutes to cure when it is heated to 120℃.The curing temperature and time are based on the technical condition.
Paking ,Storage,and Attentions:
I. This kind of rubber is packed in 20 KG/iron drum.
2. This product is non-dangerous. It should be sealed and placed in dry and cool place so as to prevent from rain and sunlight.
3. During the operation, avoid touching with condensed silicone rubber curing agent and chemical compound containing a mines, sulfur and phosphorus and some other metal-salts.
4. The storage period of this product is one years. Strong stirring can make it recover its flowability.
Suggestions should be that stir the rubber material in the vessel first and then mix and stir the A, B component. It can be reused after reinspection when it exceeds the storage period.
FAQ
Why silicone rubber add curing agent after mixing a lot of bubbles?
This is normal physical phenomena. The liquid will produce a large number of bubbles in the mixing time ,so must pass through the vacuum exhaust bubble treatment.
How to improve the service life of the silicone mold?
The way as follwing:
First,we make the mold should be choose a suitable hardness silicone based on product's size.
Second,silicone oil can not be added in silicone because it can make the mold become soft .As well as decrease tensile and tear strength.
