Hydroxypropyl Tetrahydropyrantriol is a mixture of glycoproteins derived from xylose. Because xylose is abundant in beech trees, it has the ability to promote the production of glycosaminoglucans, namely mucopolysaccharides (GAGs). Hydroxypropyl Tetrahydropyrantriol, extracted from the beech tree, has similar effects to xylose.
