Products Description
GLS quartz tube produced with high purity material SiO2 99.99-99.9999%,OH content controlled in less than 20PPM, 15PPM, 10PPM,5PPM, 2PPM. Quartz itself has many good characters such as:
1. High temperature resistance
The hardening point temperature of high temperature resistant quartz glass is about 1730c, which can be used for a long time under 1000C, and the maximum operating temperature can reach 1450C in a short time.
2. Corrosion resistance
Except hydrofluoric acid, quartz glass hardly reacts with other acids or alkali. Its acid resistance is 30 times that of
ceramic,150 times that of stainless steel, especially at low temperature.
3. Thermal stability
The thermal contraction coefficient of quartz glass, can suffer severe temperature changes, the quartz glass heated to 1100 ℃ or so, will not burst into cold water.Thermal expansion coefficient is extremely small (5.3 ~ 5.8) x 10 ^ (7).3.
4. Good electrical insulation performance
The resistance of quartz glass is 10,000 times that of ordinary glass. It is an excellent electrical insulation material with good electrical properties even at high temperature.
5. Good transmittance
Quartz glass has good transmittance in all spectral waves from purple to red, and the visible light transmittance is above
93%,especially in the ultraviolet spectral region, with the maximum transmittance reaching 80-90%.
