Performance characteristics:
K-588 silicone sealant is a kind of one component room temperature curable silicone rubber, which is easy to peel off. It has good thixotropy, neutral and no corrosion, and is convenient for secondary assembly and maintenance. It has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, solvent resistance, low shrinkage and no collapse.It is suitable for large clearance (0 ~ 06 mm), which can be sealed directly according to the flange shape of the internal components of the machine, without all kinds of gaskets. It has the functions of waterproof, oil proof, shock resistance and vibration resistance.

Purpose:
This product can replace all kinds of rubber gasket, asbestos gasket, cork gasket and paper gasket. It can seal all kinds of
mechanical equipment, engine, gearbox, axle and flange joint surfaces of automobiles and motorcycles. It is not limited by the size and shape of joint surface. It is widely used for sealing and leak proof of all parts of machinery.

Usage:
1. Clean all surfaces thoroughly. Remove old gaskets and prepare flange surfaces.Dry and remove all oil and grease;
2. Remove the cap, puncture inner seal of the tube, screw on nozzle and cut the nozzle to desired size;
3. Apply continuous, uniform 1~4mm bead around perimeter of one surface. Completely surround all bolt holes;
4. Wait about 10 minutes for silicone to skin over. Then reassemble the parts.
5. Silicone dries to touch in 1 hour and allow 24 hours to fully cure and bond.
Notes:
1. Leave thickness for gasket when reassembling
2. Sealant releases acetic acid (vinegar-like odor), Used with adequate ventilation.
3. Replace the cap after use
