General Introduction
T his converter design for where request Wiegand reader (Wiegand sender ) but not easy or no plan to wiring the converters with reader or access controller. The converter works in pairs, a pair of converters consists of a sender and a receiver. Each device (converter) not only a sender but also a receiver, when two converters have same dial switch, they are a pair. The converter includes a 433MHz wireless module for communication, default working range about 500m, max 1000m, even more distance (after change to use a better wireless module) when customer request.
The device can realize bidirectional transparent data transmission between two converters (a pair of converters ) from Wiegand to wireless (default 433MHz) network with simple setup. The device can transfer many Wiegand bit for example standard Wiegand 26bit, 34bit from sender to receiver by wireless and then send out to access controller or computer software to make a full security system,
Converter can set address by manual work (set dial switch) or software (set command), it also keeps upgrade option by TTL interface when customer has any special project request customized order.

W iring definition and setting
For product structure and wiring definition , please refer to below picture:
Communication interface support TTL and Wiegand, definition as below:
TTL interface: GND, RX, TX, +5V (refer to picture)
Wiegand interface: DC+ (12V), D0, D1, GND
LoRa ( wire less) setting request two converters have same channel for communication, device provide DIP setting. So set two converter same dial switch can keep communication, by software support 30channels, by dial switch support 15 channels, refer to below form to check each setting option of dial switch and relative software code:
Remark: after set dial switch, request power off and power on to active, or push Reset key to activate.
Converter with default communication setting: 115200 ,8,1, None .
Baud rate accept setting by software. The step as below:
1. Open case, connect a USB to TTL cable with computer and converter (request install USB driver in case your computer doesn’t have it).
2. Open a RS232 testing software (UART command), input: “ SET CHANNEL=1 ” , and click Send button, you can see LED indicator flash. Device default channel was 1, so usually no need set. This method just for engineer reference in case who need it.
